Show me the money!

One thing about being with a ministry that gets all of its financial support through donations, you need money a lot.

With the economy in America as it is, it has a huge impact on the ministry here.

Currently the ministry is struggling because of supporters have to stop, or cut back, since the economy has gone down so dramatically.

Through all of this though, Niel (the Founder of Thrive Africa) said a phrase a little while back that has stuck with me in my prayers-‘This week is going to be the million dollar week’

I love that phrase and pray it often, because if we ask little, we will receive little, but if we ask much we will receive much! Praise the Lord for ALWAYS providing! (I love Him!)

good blog post but just because economy suffers doesn’t mean giving has to suffer.
Imagine if when economic struggles hit, people lessened there needs and gave the same amount or more by faith.
Americans in general are too consumerist.

Just a thought….

True Peirce. It is just a very convieniant excuse. But of course we justify why we don’t give at any time, whether the economy is bad, or good. If you are rich or poor. Its all about obeying what God says for us to do.
Leviticus 27:30
‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.’
